The corruption of free thought, can be seen as the end of freedom. The freedom to discern truth. How can The Party, controlling the state and the masses, take over the freedom of the people? By altering the past, The Party are able to convince the people into conforming to a social agenda, all the while, one’s freedom to seek and find truth are being revoked and made illegal. The ones with the bravery to self-corrupt and go against the system, are few, and know that they are doing a dangerous thing in the eyes of the thought-police, who abduct and kill those who open their eyes to the systematic ways of life and question it, beginning to see the lies brought about by the government’s grasp on truth and corruption.
